Croatia Alternative Tourist Destination to Egypt and Tunisia

The riots in Northern Africa have affected the German tourists vacation plans, so as an alternative to Egypt and Tunisia other destinations are becoming more interesting: first of all Turkey and Spain, Italy and Cyprus, but especially Bulgaria and Croatia – according to the GfK Travel Insights agency research.

The research is based on booking information gathered from 1,200 travel agencies in Germany. GfK highlights that for most German tourists the riots in Northern Africa meant postponing their planned visits to Egypt and Tunisia before summer. Tourism in Croatia is steady and in fact 5% more tourists visited Croatia last summer as they did the summer before. Tourism is an important factor when thinking about buying property in Croatia, especially if you are buying it as an investment property.
