We have bought a fine plot in Rogoznica first row to the sea with the help of FPC. They are the best of the different brokers we have met in Croatia. Agent Jelena Dadic of ‘First Property Croatia’ real estate agency has helped us choose the house and follow the purchase process. We contacted First Property Croatia real estate agency with a wish to purchase a house in Croatia. Our criteria were far from simple as we wanted a family house with a large garden (to Croatian standards) on one of the islands; and the house had to be completely finished with no further investment necessary; including all infrastructure and ‘clean’ ownership.
We would expecially like to thank agents Ivo Perkovic and Jelena Dadic for their professionalism and efficiency. They have successfully and in a short time compiled a list of properties that might be interesting for us. From this list we have chosen the properties we wanted to see, after which our agents organized a two-day viewing, adjusting the appointments completely to our schedule.
The entire route and viewing schedule were organized in such a practical and intelligent manner, enabling us to form an opinion of the market here although this was our first time in Croatia. Also there were no mistakes at all, such as absence of the sellers, lack of access to the property etc.
Iva has, in the manner of a professional lawyer, answered any questions we had on properties and Croatian laws, and Jelena’s help in communication was priceless: not only did she participate in negotiations and property searches, but she has assisted us with the documentation even after we had bought the property. Her knowledge of Croatian, Russian and English has proven most valuable in our talks with the locals from which we got very important information; as well as in negotiations and correspondence with the seller of our chosen property, including all details which were important to us in order to successfully complete the purchase process.
